1985

Some cool shit happened in 1985.  Come to think of it, most of you reading this probably weren’t even born yet.  Let’s recap.  In 1985 Nintendo came out for sale in the United States.  Classic movies like Goonies and Back to the Future were released.  Microsoft dropped its first version of Windows – Windows 1.0.  The Bones Brigade video Future Primitive hit the streets.  Da Chicago Bears were the Super Bowl champs and the Kansas City Royals won the World Series.  Oh yeah, and the trading card company Topps came out with the Garbage Pail Kids cards to parody the Cabbage Patch Kids.  An instant classic – kids loved it and parents hated it.  Now that’s a combination for success.  Here we are 32 years later and they’re back.  Our friends at Santa Cruz teamed up with Topps to bring you Garbage Pail Kids boards.  This series will add a little class to your wall.  Or shall we say trash?  Either way we love ‘em and you need to get your grimy little hands on these asap.  Good thing Zumiez has what you need, click here to come up on some of the Santa Cruz Garbage Pail Kids boards for yourself.
